The 2nd Annual Junior Player Development (JPD) Program for Girls

Saturday & Sunday, February 23-24, 2008, 9am-4pm

East Rutherford, NJ

Join us for the 2nd NFL Junior Player Development clinic for girls, hosted by the New York Sharks, was a complete success. Over 150 girls from the ages of 13 to 17 years old signed up for the 2-day free clinic.

Players from the NY Sharks will coach the girls on the basic points of playing football. At the end of the day, the participants were split up into 8 teams and practice what they had learned with a friendly game of flag football. Girls from all over the tri-state area travel to Giants Stadium, as well as a few girls from as far away as Maine, to attend the 2-day free clinic.

Also, at last years clinic there were reporters for ABC News and WNBC-TV. Due to the positive responses from the girls and the NFL, the New York Sharks will hold another free clinic February 23 - 24, 2008.
